Another Term Left Behind

Posted on: March 26, 2010

Hurray! It’ s the last day of winter term!

Of course, not the last day officially as many of us still have environmental course exam to take. But after Business Ethics class which was the last course for this term we have 12 days of vacation.

The winter term was our second term. Everyone has already realized what it is to study in AUA. I think everyone in our group has arleady developed some tips for himself/herself to “survive”. They say “The most difficult period to study in AUA are the first two years, then it becomes easier….”

Winter term, 2010 was the first term of the experiment in MBA. We were trying to estimate whether it will be more efficient to have  the courses one after the other. During our fall term,2009 when we were just starting the courses started simultaneously. While this term all the courses went one after another.  Only the environmental class which had nothing to do with our department went with the other classes.

I think the experiment was successful! Most of the students state that it is easier to concentrate and study one subject for 2 weeks rather than 4 ones at the same time for 2-3 months.

One more term left behind! Good luck to the students who have ornithology and env. economics  exams. Enjoy your vacation!
